About the Artist: Derek Roberts

Born in Birkenhead, 1945, Derek Roberts always had a fascination with all things mechanical.  He trained at Birkenhead art School in the 1960s, after which he was accepted to work as a car stylist with Ford Motor Company.  Derek specialises in nostalgic scenes from the 50s and 60s.
