Times Past II – The Sweet Shop 1000 Piece Puzzle

About the Artist:

Tracy Hall is a watercolour artist who specialises in painting nature in detail in all its forms.  Working exclusively in watercolour (both transparent and opaque), she enjoys the versatility of the medium and paints from life, photographs and imagination; more often than not all three in the same painting. Her images include everything from flowers and pets to wildlife and miniature art.

It was after discovering miniature art in 2007 that a new and exciting chapter began, enabling Tracy to balance commissioned work for private and commercial clients with something purely for herself.  She was instantly hooked and deeply honoured to be presented with several awards when she first exhibited her miniatures the following year, including the prestigious Gold Memorial Bowl from the Royal Miniature Society.

Her work has also been used to raise funds for endangered wildlife and conservation and she is an elected member of several international miniature art societies.  Tracy continues to exhibit regularly in the UK and abroad and works from her studio on the shores of Scapa Flow in Scotland – surrounded by paintings in waiting!

Tracy’s work is much in demand in the licensing field and has been published in books and magazines.  It can also be found on jigsaw puzzles, greeting cards and a variety of other licensed products.
