Philip Johnson is based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, in New South Wales, Australia and specialises  in High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR),

While photographing all his life, Philip’s  passion for photography moved to another level with the introduction of the Digital medium.

His inspirations are the Masters of landscape photography and the great landscape painters, both Australian and overseas. Philip can be found chasing the light, out at first light and during the golden sunset hour, scouting beach, harbour-side, or mountain locations.

Philip’ s photographic works are  exhibited widely in galleries and exhibitions across Australia.

He  has had commissions in Fine Art Prints, Wall Murals, Real Estate, Panoramic HDR images, and has been published in both Australian and American Publications. His works have also featured in tourism campaigns, on calendars, wall art  as well as in advertising campaigns (including the National Australian Tourism Campaign)
