About the Artist:

Born in Birkenhead, 1945, Derek Roberts always had a fascination with all things mechanical.  He trained at Birkenhead Art School in the 1960’s, after which he was accepted to work as a car stylist with ford Motor Company.  Derek specialises in nostalgic scenes from the 50s and 60s.
