It’s an action-packed sports day at the Ardliworth-Gowen Primary School! In fact, it’s so action packed there’s a danger it will get out horribly out of control.  Several races are being run at the same time, and the keen youngsters are busily preparing for events later in the afternoon, so there are space hoppers bouncing, wellies flying and even a rogue javelin making an appearance.  Add to that the ever-competitive parents, and there are bound to be tears before bedtime!

About the artist. Geoff Tristram has been a highly successful professional artist and cartoonist for over 35 years, and his work can be found on fine art prints, collector’s plates, greetings cards, postage stamps and, of course, jigsaw puzzles.  Geoff is also an author and has written a series of popular comedy novels featuring his alter ego, David Day.  Geoff lives with his family in the West Midlands.
