Made with non toxic inks which have passed through rigid safety standards. Printed on high quality glass art paper which is free of all toxic substances.
About The Artist:
Diane Phalen is known to quilters nationwide for her charming and original quilt designs and her quilt-oriented landscapes. Diane grew up in the heart of Pennyslvania’s Amish farmlands.
As a young girl, “she says, “I sketched barns, mills and covered bridges close to our homestead. A rainbow of quilts seemed to be hanging on every clothesline, fence and porch rail.
Today, Diane continues to roam country roads for handmade inspiration.
Diane especially enjoys using quilts to express the brilliance of the changing seasons. Diane likes to say “She quilts with her paint brush”.
Quilt making is art to Diane and the colours she sees inspire her own colour palette.” And to good result – Diane is America’s foremost painter in the world of quilts and quilting.
Diane’s education includes training in commercial art and design, drafting, technical illustration and architectural design
Diane’s work appears on prints, cards, a host of home décor and home fabric products, in her books on quilting and on Holdson’s Jigsaw Puzzles.
