Each 1000 PC Puzzle has over five-hundred different shapes in its make-up with each piece fitting into two different positions in the jigsaw, only one of which is the correct position.

There are also pieces which appear to be outside edge pieces but in fact are not.  They actually fit into the inner section of the jigsaw.
