John Bradley – Trams in Gaslight 1000 Piece Puzzle
Artist: John Bradley –
As a painter, John Bradley’s paintings depict the light and calm aura that one may feel the very first time that you meet him.
Inspired by his deep feeling for the rugged Australian landscape, he brings himself in every art work that is produced using a wide range of colours to enhance the expressive stokes used in every painting he creates, making him one of the most published artists.
“I believe that the role of the landscape artist is to take nature’s creations and interpret and render them with all the skill and insight he or she possesses so that the viewer might feel the love and inspiration the painter experienced during the creation of the work” – John Bradley.
John loves painting the Australian landscape mainly working in oils. His techniques range from traditional realist work through impressionistic pieces with lots of broad brush and palette knife techniques to semi-abstract and posteresque figurative images. John’s subject matter ranges from the harsh outback regions to the verdant coastal scenery of the eastern states of Australia. His treatment of light on the trees and foliage is unique. The subtlety of colour in his majestic panoramic vistas of the Blue Mountains is awe inspiring.
John’s work has been acknowledged worldwide and his works are represented in many private and corporate collections in Australia and abroad.
