Description

Wysocki Whiskers – Remington the Horticulturalist 1000 Piece Puzzle

About the Artist:

Charles Wysocki’s cats are best known for their discriminating tastes and cosy napping quarters, his feline companions never fail to charm audiences and rouse imaginations.  Each of the artist’s pet portraits reveals a unique personality and tells a story.

The warmth and wit of Charles Wysocki’s cat and American Folk Art paintings have made him one of the most collected artists.  He grew up in a Polish enclave of Detroit, Michigan, a close-knit community of immigrants who eagerly celebrated the history and traditions of their new homeland.  The values instilled in him from childhood  – a love of life, family, and home – permeate his many artworks.  Charles Wysocki’s contributions to art have been recognised with more than fifty awards, and his paintings appear in best selling books, prints, gifts and many other successfully licensed products.

Charles Wysocki enjoyed the simple pleasures of life with his wife, Liz, and their three children.  His inspiring vision, enthusiasm, and passion for his craft will long be remembered.
