Wartime Summer 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

Artist Kevin Walsh is well known for his colourful portrayal of nostalgic scenes. In this jigsaw puzzle we see two boys, out walking their dog, admiring the two fighter planes flying over the countryside, reminding us that the times were not as peaceful as this beautiful picture seems to portray.  A steam train thunders up to the level crossing where a classic sports car waits for its turn to cross the lines.  The young dog in the car seems more interested in the dog on the lead, than in anything else going on around him.  The farmer’s dog runs alongside the tractor – the trailer piled high with freshly cut hay.
