The Pink Roadhouse, Oodnadatta, South Australia

As I was approaching Oodnadatta years ago, alongside the highway, there were pink markers to advise drivers how much further they had to travel to reach the town.  When I arrived, I saw the Pink Roadhouse.  It had been painted by Lyn and her husband, who owned the place.  Lyn reckoned that if she was going to live in the middle of nowhere, she had to have some colour and as pink is her favourite colour, they decided to paint everything pink.
